Summer Seminar and Closing of Three Year Retreat with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche

With immense joy we announce Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche’s summer seminar and the sealing of the second 3 year retreat in Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Pyrénées from 31st August to 6th September.

The schedule is as follows:

● 30th August: Arrival day

● 31st August to 5th September: Summer seminar with teachings from Rinpoche, Drupon Lama Tenzin, and probably Khenpo Pema Namgyal

● 6th September: closing of the second 3 year retreat in Gomde Pyrénées

● 7th September: Departure of all who are not staying for the 2 week meditation retreat; Start of retreat with Drubpon Lama Tenzin

● 19th September: End of retreat

● 20th September: Departure day after retreat

During the summer seminar, we will be very fortunate to receive nature of mind teachings from Rinpoche and on one of the days he will lead the Ocean of Amrita (Ngakso) puja to mend and purify vows, restore spiritual commitments (samaya), and remove obstacles (Ocean of Amrita - Rangjung Yeshe Publishing). Rinpoche will also bestow empowerments - more information will be provided closer to the seminar.

The sealing of the 3 year retreat will be celebrated with a special ceremony in the 3 year retreat area just below the Gomde main house. It will conclude with the closing of the retreat boundaries and saying farewell to the retreatants on 6th September in the afternoon.

Translation from Tibetan will be provided in English, French and Spanish.

If you would like to attend the summer seminar with Rinpoche and the retreat with Drubpon Lama Tenzin and, in return, are ready to offer services for 2 or more weeks at Gomde before or after the seminar, this is for you!
